Do I Talk Too Much?

Since I discovered C128 Alive! I find that I spend a lot of time here, and always seem to have something to say. About anything and everything.

Sometimes I feel like I say too much, and that I should just shut up and let someone else have a chance.

On the other hand, since Lance seems to have unlimited space, I tell myself it's not like I'm taking up room that squeezes someone else out.

So what do you think? Would you just like to see me shut the **** up? Or should I continue to put my two cents (or two hundred) in whenever I feel like it?

Be honest. I can take it. I want to contribute, not dominate.

The more the merrier.  You're adding great signal with little to no noise.  This is by far my favorite forum on the net.

Glad to have you and your posts. :)

See? Fish enough and you'll get compliments!

Seriously, I do try to restrain myself from commenting on EVERY thread...but I still think I hit the majority of them. Maybe I should do like email responses, wait for an hour and post if I still think I have something to contribute.

BTW, kudos for you Mangelor, plbyrd, and nikoniko, as well. Always good thoughts from you guys. Of course, I think among the four of us we probably post 1/2 the posts on this forum. :)

That's ok, if it becomes a problem I'll impose a 100 gigabyte limit per person :D

cheers,

Well, if we all shut up, there wouldnt be much of a forum.  People come and go, but keep in mind that your questions and comments stick around here, and others in the future may find some value in things you have to say.  Thats the real value of the Internet and forums like these.  We "google" things because the questions have already been asked.

(BTW, it looks like i have some catching up to do.. Im still a lowly VIC-20 user...)

You only have another 72 posts to go to become a C64 user (two members there already).

The whole point of forums is to chat so I figure, why not? I use to avoid participating in forums and then I started making a few posts here and there and then I noticed that the rate at which I was posting accelerated. The more I posted, the more involved I became and that resulted in more posts. It's a little out of control. I've got about 2000 at Lemon 64, 1000 at the PETSCII forums, almost 500 at both the Denial and Lemon Amiga forums and there are more. I'm completely out of control. Actually, I've been rather restrained here. Not sure why...

Ok, that's cheating just to increase your post count :)

hehehe... damn... caught by the admin.  But ... think of the ellipses as an art, that there is a message buried in there somewhere... sure, at the surface it looks like Im just writing random numbers and periods, but on a higher level, "71..." means *something*.  Not that I have any idea what, but it could be true...

Oh and 70....

;)

Like "42" -- the ultimate answer. 64+7=71, or 128-57...
