Basically, I know GEOS is still licenced, etc etc...I'm wondering about software for it though.  For example, GeoCalc (spreadsheet program) and others that were made for GEOS 64 and GEOS 128.

If there's anything available, anyone happen to know where I could get them?

Also, aside geobasic, becker basic, and geoAssembler (geo Developer)...is there any other programming languages available for GEOS like perhaps a C or a Pascal maybe that make use fo the GEOS environement?

Again, if there's anything (freely available) where could I find out about them, and possibly get them?

Thanks all.

I know this is an old thread, but I was thinking...

Remember that there was also GEOS for the Apple and GeoWorks for the PC. I don't know if code developed for one can be compiled for another without major changes. But maybe they had development tools that could be used or adapted. I know there were C libraries for GeoWorks. It would be cool to cross-develop for C128 GEOS using C on a PC.

GeoWorks is now owned by a company called Breadbox and is apparently used on some PDAs and cell phones. They also apparently try to sell it to schools as an 'educational application', which can mean just about anything.

Anyway, Googling for GeoWorks and Apple GEOS and you might get some hits. Good luck!

GEOS 64 & 128 can be downloaded here http://cbmfiles.com/ as well as drivers (input/printer/drive/CMD devices), GEOWRITE, GEOPAINT, TEXTGRABBER, gateWay 64 & gateWay128. There is also an archive of all the GENIE GEOS files.

Mystik - there was a bunch of stuff I uploaded to the site her regarding Geos 128.  I have even more.  Send me a note and Ill see what I can send you.  Geos is a little tougher to organize because of the way the files work.
