Cloanto has released C64 Forever, "a revolutionary preservation, emulation and support package".  Similar in nature to Cloanto's
best-selling Amiga Forever package, C64 Forever runs on the PC and provides an emulation of the C64, PET, VIC-20, Plus4, and C128; a database of thousands of games, 200 games and demos, and historical facts and photos.  C64 Forever is priced at $19.95 for the downloadable version and $24.95 for the boxed version.

C64 Forever information is also available on Facebook and Twitter.

It's got to be the easies way to get into c64 emulations. install and working in 10 minutes.
With a great choice of c64 games and no hunting around pirate sites for roms.
As described it's super-comfy. but i would add super-easy.

Now if only it would play Metal Dust :) .
c64web.com runs from a unmodified commodore 64

Is this based on VICE or a different engine altogether ?

Jason "TMR" Kelk says it's a modified version of VICE.

Michael Battilana of Cloanto has confirmed his attendance at this year's CommVEx.  If you have questions about Amiga Forever and/or C64 Forever, have them ready for Michael at the show!
By the way, if you are on Facebook, Michael has set up a CommVEx 2009 event page there.  Go to
