General chat / Merry Xmas
December 27, 2007, 03:03 AM
I have a c-64 monitor and 1541 HD from way back when.   along with about 300 programs, games, tools, etc. and about 10 cartridges, S'MORE Basic, Simon BASC C-64 forth, Epic FastLoad,  and a few other things.  I'm not commodoreless ;-).

But I never had the priviledge of having a 128....long sotry short, when the 128 came out I couldn't a afford it, when I could afford it, the amiga500 came out and well, you can imagine what happened ;-).  when I could afford it again I couldn't find a damn thing anywhere, there was no QBAY or anything like that either.  So well, I lived deprived of the 128.  WinvVICE filled the gap pretty good. but yeah, having my own, maybe with a SuperCPU and 1750 RAM expansion would be bliss. ;-).

*ponders putting a paypal donation link in his signature.*  LOL

Links / Homepages?
December 26, 2007, 12:25 AM
I don't have a C related website though I am thinking about it.  I don't wanna make a forum per se, there's plenty of those.  just a website...however, to keep that interesting with continuously updated contents, I'd probably make it about any and all commodore computers.  ;-).  Each with it's own section. Maybe a wiki or something :-).

I'd like them to add a c65 emulator.  I never saw a c65 in action and well, let's face it, the specs look pretty cool too.

as far as the 128 emulator goes, well so far I've been playing wih dis images more than anything else.  So I don't know if it's supported yet, but some of those hard drives support might be good if there was some sort of HD available for the 128

LOL....you're the first to analyze this in about 4 years ;-).  ok so maybe shadows were the 4th creation since you needed a solid object and a surface for the solid object to cast it's shadlw on. ;-)..

Quote from: mystikshadows...if I had a 128 you can bet I'd be ordering one of those.  but right now I gotta start from the beginning and find me a 128 then I'll see what else I'll add to it. ;-).
Still not 128! :o

We have got to get you sorted out. I know a few people in upstate NY who might have spare 128s to sell, if you're interested.
Get me straightened out, that's why my wife keeps on saying too ;-) but I don't think she's talking about my commodore 128 issue LOL.

There's a few things I need to take care of before I can look into getting a 128...When the time is right, I'll post in this forum, it's amazing to see all the kicks in the butt (err motivational posts lol) I get here.   I appreciate the help.  and when the time's right, you can bet I'll let you guys know to hook me up with the goods. ;-).

lol I didn't know there ever was a stereo SID cartridge made by anyone. ;-).  What if one would like to program something for a stereo setup like this?  what are the addresses of the 2nd SID chip anyone happen to know?

I think it's an awesome idea...if I had a 128 you can bet I'd be ordering one of those.  but right now I gotta start from the beginning and find me a 128 then I'll see what else I'll add to it. ;-).

SLOPe / A first look at SLOPe
November 27, 2007, 07:38 PM
it would have been easy to find me.  just tell the search party to flash a C-128 up in the air as they walk the sttreets, I'd pop up like a rat going after the cheese in a maze. ;-)  I'd find them, twice as fast if it includes a 64hdd, a monitor, floppy drives and the likes ;-).

and LOL@Mark's life of crime hehe.  from the foreclosure papers, it's my ex-landlord's life of crime. ;-).

Looks like a good emulator, it's the first I've heard of it though.  But I downloaded it just now and gave it a test run attached floppy images and tried it, look good. :-).

added to my bookmarks :-)
