Guys,
We need to arrange an online meet ASAP to belt out the basics, suggestion for peoples preferred time/date/meeting medium ?
Lance
This weekend is very bad. Fourth of July is a very busy weekend here in the states.
I know you're an Aussie, and so just about any time that's convenient for us Yanks is gonna be damn inconvenient for you. Maybe we should get a head-count and see what the prevelant time zone is.

Don't bet on it, I keep odd hours :) About the only time you can guarantee not to get me is between about 11pm & 4am.
Best thing is to go by the majority.
cheers,
Lance
Im in for next weekend (July 8/9).
How does July 8, at 10pm EST, on QLink sound to everyone? I dont know what that translates to Australian time. Qlink seems to make sense, and I think it would be after the usual saturday night #c64friends chat. We can talk about those basic goals we want to reach with the BBS.

Short notice - what about next Saturday ?
And why not the chat here? I currently don't have a working connection to QLink.

Agreed :D
Also doing it next weekend will allow me time to advertise it to interested parties.
cheers,
Lance
Ok, tonight was just something I threw out. Go ahead and set a time and we'll do it. As for the where, if chatbox will work, Im game.
With my crazy work schedule and juggling family, it's near impossible to set a time and date for me; but if you post here when and where (and maybe how to get there), if I'm free I can drop in. :)

Actually, that's perfect for me :
New York (U.S.A. - New York) Saturday, July 15, 2006 at 10:00:00 PM UTC-4 hours
Sydney (Australia - New South Wales) Sunday, July 16, 2006 at 12:00:00 Noon UTC+10 hours
If everyone's happy with this, I'll announce it ?
Lance
Great! I'll be there.
