Title: Woohoo! C128 on the internet :-)
Post by: Mark Smith on July 28, 2007, 12:22 PM
I managed to get my C128 onto the internet using an MMC64, an RR-Net ethernet board and Contiki ... and the browser can even browse here ... well ok maybe "browse" is stretching it a bit, but you can slowly watch the text go by :-)
So one of those "other" operating systems you see in the forum logs will be me :-)

Time to play I think ....

Can't do any screen shots at the mo, my wife has got the camera with her and she's on-route to the UK .. I can try and do a mini video using the webcam, how would I upload it ?

Thank you for confirming this works. I'd been told the RR-Net should work in 128 mode, but it seems not many people have tried it. Maybe you can check out the Singular web browser (http://singularcrew.hu/browser/compile.php) when you have a chance and see how it compare's to Contiki's.

EDIT: Ah, wait... you didn't actually say you did it in 128 mode. I should read more carefully next time. :/
