It's already at a high price with plenty of time left.
What is so special about this unit? I don't speak or read German and am curious as I NEVER heard of a C-64 Gold Edition.
Thanks!

There were a limited number of mounted (but useable) C64's released to mark (I think) the 1 millionth & 2 millionth C64's sold in Germany, this one's been on eBay before. There was also a 1 millionth VIC20 that has appeared once before as well.
I recall that somewhere around here I've got the original gold C64 article in an edition of Commodore magazine (1985 I think). Will try & hunt it down & scan it.
cheers,
Lance
It went for EUR 3,010.00.....
Totally ridiculous.
What have others gone for?
The same seller has sold two previous Gold Editions 64s for 2011 EUR and 1510 EUR. At 3010 EUR, this is his new record.
Where's my gold spraypaint? I'm gonna spray me up a new Hummer! :D
