Title: Downloads?
Post by: zeke1312 on October 29, 2007, 02:39 AM
Looks like the downloads on this forum and probably any download from any source is usable only if downloaded on a 128, not a PC? I've heard of "red ryder"(sp). Is this the software that allows importing files via floppy from a PC? Which floppy drive does it work on? Where is this software loaded? How is the download accomplished?

Do you mean Little Red Reader?

Yes

It works on the 1581 and FD-2000/4000 drives.

It is loaded onto your Commodore and run.

Uh, the download of the files that you want to transfer, or the download of Little Red Reader?

Still on the road but back home later tonight,

Hi:

I have Red  Reader on diskette in C128 format (CP/M or Dos or.... ).Looks like after Red Reader is loaded to the C= the files I download to my PC can be read directly from the PC created diskette. Thanks for the reply.
