This seems to be 'unusual commodore auction week' at eBay. There are lots of things that I've rarely or NEVER seen for sale before:
We'll start slow - a C64 CP/M cartridge. You see them from time to time, but not often. This one's in the box with disk, and is up to $2.25: 110185884444
A 1520 plotter. Again, they come up for sale, but not often. $11.50 right now: 250180343545
A KIM-1. This one's bare-bones - no docs. But it's up to $122.50 with a day to go: 290174607432
The 'travel pouch' that came with the SX-64? I didn't even know there was one. This is certainly the first time I've seen one on eBay. Starting bid $4.95: 260177027194
The Tool-64 cartridge from Handic. Includes a DOS wedge. INFO had one back in the day, but I can't remember what else it does, and the seller has no clue, either. $.99 opening bid: 110187026754
Andrew's still got one of his really cool orange disk notchers up there. $4.25 so far: 110187026036
These only come up once in a blue moon - a 512K GEORAM cartridge, $70.00, Buy It Now only, free Shipping: 280168440437
This one's for the VIC-20, but it's so unusual I had to list it - a 64K RAM expansion cartridge! It's even got two slots for additional 'Select-a-RAM' carts, which the seller says would expand the unit to 192K! I've never seen one before. It's at $24.99: 220165907430
This guy claims this is a prototype keyboard for the C16 that came from a Commodore engineer. $10.50 to date: 300166358162
1-megabyte IEEE SFD-1001 drives don't come up very often. This one's already at $129.95 after only one bid: 220165915014
The same guy's selling a Skyles Electric Works IEEE Flash interface. $79.95 to date. I think this one's for 64 mode only: 220165920936
This is a 1750 REU that's been expanded to 1 meg. He wants an unholy high opening bid of $129.95, though: 220165928287
Finally, this is the rarest bird in the flock - an REU battery backup device. I looked it up, and we'd listed it in INFO, but I've never actually seen one. Essentially turns your CBM REU or GEORAM into a Quick Brown Box. $79.95 opening bid, and worth every nickel for something this rare and useful, if you ask me: 220165938738

I've never heard it called a "travel pouch", but yes, all SX-64's come with one of these originally. They're for storing your power, serial, and keyboard cable.

Yeah, that seller would be me... And no, besides a DOS wedge, I couldn't figure out anything else that this does. I'm assuming there must be more to it, since there is an obvious decrease in the number of available bytes free at startup, but I wasn't able to find any information on it online, and asking about it to the folks at last Saturday's #c64friends IRC chat didn't reveal any further information.

Yes, I bought six of these initially, and the first one sold for $36! Pretty amazing, since I bought it for $6 from the tip you posted about earlier (here (https://www.atlaz.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=AC&Product_Code=112)). I'll continue selling these on eBay as long as there are morons who will buy them. Everyone here, however, I consider to posess a higher level of intelligence, so I'd assume all of you would buy one from the link above rather than from me on eBay. ;)
One more "interesting item" that's up for auction on eBay right now is the User Port Commander (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=110187020617&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=001) by 8-Bit Designs. That's another one of the items that I have up for auction... It's a very useful item to have... :)

Are you selling your own 8-Bit Designs stuff or are you buying stuff from ramswell expressly to sell on eBay? (Or acting as an agent for him -- same difference.)

I am neither buying stuff from Charles to sell on eBay nor acting as an agent for him. He gave me some of his 8-Bit Designs items in trade for some other items several months ago. I'm sure you'll agree that his methods for selling his products are less than ideal, and because of this, I figured that some people may wish to buy some of these items in a more convenient way. Like almost everything I sell on eBay, these are items that I no longer have any use for, and I'd just like them to find a good home.

No problem. I was just curious if this was stuff from your collection or if he was, directly or indirectly, finally selling stuff on eBay. I find it quite odd that he and others (Joe Palumbo leaps to mind) don't make the effort to figure out eBay. They could probably double the amount of business they do.
Andrew, if by that you mean 'His web site really, really sucks' then I'd have to agree with you. It's impossible to figure out what he sells or how to buy it. Unless you're a genius like all of us, of course. :)
