Title: Putting BASIC program on C128 ROM (U36)
Post by: RamRod on September 08, 2006, 04:21 PM
The C128 has an internal empty socket (U36). Does anyone know how to place a BASIC program on an EPROM that would do this:
Load the BASIC program into RAM,
Transfer control to BASIC,
Start the program running.

I know how to burn EPROMS and the basics of setting up the cartridge, but need a ML loader that will autorun and load the basic program into memory ... etc.

Thanks

On Vic-20 Denial forum, Schema did this with menu cartridge for Vic-20.

While there are many messages in the thread, it is a great read:)

Logic should be transferable to your senario of using U36 with auto start enabled.
