My 1084S just blew up :-(

It now goes "SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!"

Any guesses ?

And what would a good replacement be ?

Unfortunately it's squealing and not working :-(

Looks like I'll have to either get another 1084 from somewhere or look at the VGA adapters.

I've decided I'm going the CGA/VGA adapter route next time, with an LCD monitor. Authenticity is great and all, but I'm tired of lugging around great big CRTs with fuzzy screens.
