This link has many popular ADFs of Amiga apps. You can find games just about anywhere, but few people post app software. I think this is a bad thing for any aging platform. Eventually they will disappear forever otherwise.

Too bad they don't have Doug's Math Aquarium (later MathVision). The coolest program ever written for the Amiga. Or Maple, the best serious software for Amy.
Hi,
I'm Zeb, the owner (and creator) of the website listed above and while checking my referers I found this site listed.
On the home page it mentions that if I don't have what you want then to ask as I have a lot of software - far too much to add to my website.
However, I have searched and I DO have MathVISION and Maple.
MathVISION v2.1 (3 disks, 2 different versions)
Maple V v0.9 (four disks)
If you want me to I will upload these and make them available for download.
I'm sure somebody would be interested. I have a great nostalgia for these programs, and if I still owned an Amiga I would definitely want them.
Edit: Duh, what am I thinking! I've got an Amiga emulator! I haven't tried downloading and running anything on it, but these two would definitely be worth trying! Let me know if you make them available!
For all of you Amiga collectors out there, have a look at this ebay item: "Amiga Magazine collection mini guides/books 13 in total", itemnumber 300270270816.

Why did you post about that particular auction? There's nothing of particular interest in that lot.

Actually I used to have a large collection of the guides that were published by Amiga Shopper & amiga Format (probably have some floating around still boxed away). Although written for the newbie user, they were a useful source of tips on some software.
I should dig out my collection & scan them.......
The A1200 guide shown here I definitely do have, it's a nice little booklet actually.
cheers,
Lance

First of all, I want to point out that I am NOT the seller of that auction. I merely wanted to inform Amiga enthusiasts of an auction of a good price with a lot of information. If that is not OK then please let me know and I will not do it again.

I agree... good information. You haven't done anything wrong. Carry on. :)

No, it's fine (although maybe it should have gone in Auctions et al (http://landover.no-ip.com/forums/index.php?board=14.0) but that's another story). I just wondered what was noteworthy about it as there are loads of such auctions.
OK :)
It's good that we don't argue over such a matter. After all, Christmas is coming up :)

Actually, you're right - I'll move the thread.

Thanks Lance :)
Keep in mind, I am a newbie to this forum, but I am learning by the minute how things work :)

Don't worry about it. Our estimable leader, Lance "Blacklord", has posted information about magazine auctions in the past.
