The C64 BASIC ROM could be removed and replaced with... what? What could you make out of GO64 mode BESIDES a C64? Your ideas, please.

I disk based OS.  Get BASIC out of there, autoboot the first program on disk (or track 1, sector 0, etc)... If I could mod my machine to do that, Id have a ton of fun...

Gee, that functionality already exists on the 128 side.  Sounds to me like an exercise in wasted time.  :-)
