I'm about to purchase a C128 (yes!), a sweet working system with tons of software and accessories. But there's one flaw... the keycap for the 'N' key is missing. From what I've been told, though, the plunger mechanism is still there.
I'm wondering, are the small keys on the numeric keypad the same size as the letter keys? If so, I'm thinking I'll just relocate the + sign or something like that.
Finally! Congratulations!
They're the same, but relocate 'Line Feed' instead. It's gray, but you'll never miss it.
The only problem is that without a keycap and spring, the keys have a tendency to drop and make permanent contact. :(
Good idea, thanks! I had forgotten the 128 has a Line Feed key. :D
