Hello all,
I have just purchased a geoRAM expansion and I would like to use it with all the GEOS128 applications I found on www.commodore128.org. The problem is that the standard configuration does not seem to support geoRAM, so I cannot see the geoRAM in GEOS128. I'm sure the geoRAM works since I tested it with a test program I found.
Can anyone help me,please?
thank you,
Daniele
Hi,
You need to download the Configure_r for GeoRAM from here.

Thank you,
but it is still not enough. From cmb files they tell you, you must also replace the boot file. I noticed that I cannot replace the boot file from the version of GEOS128 downloaded from www.commodore128.org
The GEOS128 from cmb files is a non-autobooting version, the other one is.
Do you have any idea on how to change the boot file in the latter version?
thanks,
Daniele

All of the download links are dead. What happened? What is the point of all this if there is no software for the C=128?

I tried a few of the links on that page, and they all worked for me. It must have been a temporary problem that has since been fixed.

Sorry but when I click any of the links a page of garbage shows up and there is no download. Firefox?
Can you give some examples of links that aren't working? I'm in SeaMonkey and so far, have only run across one or links that are DOA.

Here's one. I can figure out what is going on myself.

Sounds like your browser is downloading the file as text. Did you try right-clicking the link and selecting "Save Target As"?

There will be a GeoRAM for sale at the January 11 SCCAN meeting.
