Title: One Amiga Per Child
Post by: Golan Klinger on January 11, 2008, 01:20 PM
There's an Amiga emulator called Amiga Forever (http://www.amigaforever.com/) that is somewhat unique in that it is fully licensed to use the Amiga ROMs and its developer decided to showcase the new version by installing it on a One Laptop Per Child (http://www.laptop.org/) notebook. Check it out:

You can find more information here (http://www.amigaforever.com/news-events/20080105oapc/) if you're curious.

I ordered an XO-1 under their buy two/get one/give one program and when it arrives I'll have to install VICE so there will be a One 128 Per Child too.

Ive got two kids.. I called them offering to trade my kids for laptops.  The guy got a little irate with me, apparently trying to tell me "one laptop per child" doesn't mean what I think it means... no matter what I said, he just wouldnt take them.  Sounds like a fraud to me...

And the great thing about trading kids for laptops is that you can always make more. :D
