Title: Utility Disk Source
Post by: Andrew Wiskow on January 24, 2008, 09:18 AM
I just saw a post on the comp.sys.cbm newsgroup with a link to this website...  It's a great resource for a wide range of utility disks, including CMD RAMLink, Turbo232, SwiftLink, Commodore REU, and so much more.  Check it out at http://www.bithunter.eu/letoltesek.htm

Whoa!  While reviewing this old link, I found a disk I've been hunting for years -- the Cherpee VCM-64 Voice Command Module (otherwise known as the ENG VCM-64).  Others and I needed this driver disk for our hardware that sits unused.  Thanks to Andrew for posting this and to BitHunter Software Publishing (the owner of the website).

I'm glad I was able to help.  :)

And BTW, Bithunter's e-mail address is on the site, so you can send him an e-mail directly to thank him.

Already contacted him.
By the way, I have to send you the German utility disk that I distributed to each CommVEx attendee this year.  Several, useful tools for CMD and CBM devices.  Only a little bit of German to translate.  :-)

I almost forgot about this.  If I see Charles G. this weekend for the SC3 Arcade Party, I will leave him the disk for you.

Sounds good to me.  Thanks!  :)

This Saturday for the SC3 Arcade Party, I was going to fly into the Burbank Airport, traveling light with "just" a change of clothes, the Amiga CD32, and a few CD32 games.  Now I have to bring your disk, a 1351 mouse for Charles, and a replacement C128DCR motherboard (in original CBM packing box) for Charles, too!  (Hmm, maybe bring the Vectrex multi-cart...)

O.K., where do I squeeze my Nikon film camera
or the Sony Digital 8 camcorder?  :-)

Well, you could always hold onto the disk until the next time I make it up to Fresno...  But it's up to you!  :)

Just charter a cargo plane and you'll have all the room you need.

Way over my budget!  Southwest Airlines is more my style.  :)
