Title: SX-64 for auction - 2 hrs left
Post by: xlar54 on February 06, 2008, 12:32 AM
This one doesnt show up on searches for SX-64 because the auction was stated as "Commodore 64".  But its an SX-64.  I thought about it, but Im still trying to catch up with a plus 4 and vic-20.

That's it, I'm I'm going to start watching ebay until I get one of these things. This would have been a steal. SX64 and an Altair are my two most wanted machines.

EDIT Holy smokes. 12 minutes and only $51. Too bad I don't have an ebay account.

EDIT2: That was interesting. A last minute feeding frenzy that bumped it up $20 in the last 45 seconds. So $71.63 was the last bid.

This happens on pretty much every "hot item" that comes along on eBay...

I've heard, just never seen it except for when they auctioned off the Trojan Room Coffeemachine. I watched that one because I was a fan. :)

I hope you are successful in getting an SX-64! I got mine a while back on Ebay for $35.00. It had a problem with the monitor and the FDD controller. If you're handy at electronics, you could get a "fixer upper" pretty reasonable. I figured I would be modifying mine, especially when I get around to putting an LCD in it!
