Title: Greetings

Greeting all,
I am new to the board, and am a new 128 owner, I just got it last week and have fallen in love with it....A built in ml monitor! I am a longtime c64 user ( mainly for the synth stuff, and some games ). I do alot of software hacking, mainly perl. And some hw hacking on the Z80. I am looking to do some projects on the 128. Primarily a good 80 col RGBI -> something more modern converter, I already have a couple of ideas.

I look forward to getting to know everyone here!

Welcome!

I, too, am a fairly new C128 user.  I got my first C128 last year in January.  It took me quite a while to "upgrade" from my original C64, which I got in 1986!  :)

If you found a relatively inexpensive way to do this, I can tell you right now that there would be a fairly high demand for such an item.  A couple converters have already been produced, but the cost of production has been too high to make marketing them a reality.

greetings steve!

I only started using my c128 within the last couple of years (although Ive owned it for 10 years or more). I always thought the flat 128s had the new style SID in them, and I love $d418 digi stuff :) Imagine my surprise when someone told me that only the D's had the new style, and the flat 128s had the old.

Still not entirely in love with the crappy VIC-II output from the 128 though.....

Anyway, welcome!
