Would anyone know where I could source a replacement fuse for my 128's power supply? It's labeled D1.5A 125V and appears to be a 5mm x 20mm size. I can't find that specific rating anywhere. I've checked Digikey, Mouser, and a local store called Sayal. Very frustrating.
Get a 1.5A 250V fuse
So a nail is no good then ? ;-)

You can do that, I tend not to. If the fuse has blown then there is a chance that it went for a reason.
It could just be that it's old and it's time had come, or it could have protected something in the computer from melting.
Radioshack sells 1.5A 250V 5x20MM fuses 27-1050.

Thanks folks, got it sorted. Now that there are no Radio Shacks left in Canada it's a little more difficult to track them down.

I don't know what that would have to do with this problem of finding a "simple" fuse. I guess you can take it for granted Radio Shack does have a good selection of fuses, but sad to know they're not in Canada anymore. They don't have the "old timers" running the 'Shacks, like they used to, now just a bunch of kids. I can't believe I just typed that... Anyhow, I digress.
"Soviet Russia" is an illogical and redundant, like the number of kids working at a Radio Shack. "Car drives you", well, the marketplace "drives" you to what they feel you need, not the other way around. Try finding that fuse at a big box like Home Depot, a small hardware store, or local corner Walgreens/CVS/Rite Aid!!!

Rat Shacks in Canada are now called "The Source" (by Circus City.
I visited one at Xmas time when I needed to find some capacitors to fix my mom's TV.
A sales person approached me. She was about 17 years old, with blue & red streaks thru her hair, and multiple nose rings and other facial piercings.
She asked if she could help me. I said, no I don't want to buy a cell phone.
I then told her I was looking for capacitors.
She laughed and said she didn't know what a capacitor looked like
.... sad but true
If you had charged one up and discharged it across her nose rings I'll bet she would have learned all she needed to know about capacitors. :O
Isn't amazing that a company can hire someone like that to be a representative? And why can't the 'Shack train them in the basics of electronics?

There is very little demand for electronic components at consumer level these days.
It seems everyone wants a cell phone these days and Rat Shack (Source) is sustaining their existence on this source of revenue.
It is truly amazing that rational people will commit to cellular service packages that will cost them more than $2K over a three-year period, based on the information they receive from an incompetent sales person.

Having good staff is an unnecessary cost when your customers already know what they want.
I'd be grateful that radio shack even sell capacitors anymore, tandy ( the uk version of radio shack ) closed it's doors years ago.
Maplin has opened a store near me and you can buy some components, although it's mostly pc parts and radio controlled cars and other consumer electronics.
