I just discovered that M.U.L.E. has been ported to Linux (http://www.heroicproportions.org/downloads.html).
This begs the question - who amongst us has the ability & know-how to port classic 8 bit games to C128 native & '128-ise' them ?
I wonder if a bounty system could be organised (ala AROS bounties) ?
I don't think the problem is finding someone with the ability & know-how so much as finding someone with the time and inclination. :(

Not me but perhaps John of MicroDesigns. He did Space Battles 128 and Space Pirates 128.
There's one more programmer,
but I can't remember the name right now,

It took a bit of digging. That would be John (a different one) of the C128 game, Cloneimals.
Happy New Year!

I'm not a great fan of the game (maybe I just don't know how to play it, that's probably the case), but have you seen this:

M.U.L.E. is a classic among classics of computer games.
M.U.L.E. was always one of my favorite games... and it still is today! :)
PlanetM.U.L.E. is the best modern version I've seen (and getting better all the time)
Working on making the current release closer to the original, and they also are creating a new version with new features.
