Title: ATN contact - where is on C128DCR?
Post by: MIRKOSOFT on February 13, 2009, 01:53 PM
Hi!

I want to make switcher to turn ON/OFF internal C1571 drive of C128DCR. At forums was written that the motherboard of C128D (plastic) is totally other of C128DCR (metal). I have a scheme of C128DCR, there it is U113 pin 1 on motherboard... but I found it not.
Where to look to find U113 pin1?
'Cause any answers at forums were that enough ATN signal can be enabled or disabled and it will work...
Thanks for all....

U113 is on the right front side of the PC Board, under the Drive Mechanism.

As I wrote, I want to do a swtcher to enable/disable internal 1571 of C128DCR at ATN contact U113 pin1.
You written to me that it's under drive mechanism. Before I dismount C1571 from side of C128DCR I want only ask:
What's there, at U113? How is it done? Is there any cable to cut or must I soldering?
It's important for me 'cause I'm not good in soldering...
Thanks for all.
