Title: Turning off internal C1571 of C128DCR
Post by: MIRKOSOFT on March 04, 2009, 06:38 AM
Hi everybody!

Here at forum I wrote that I want to turn off internal C1571 diskdrive. Somebody helps me that I have to cut ATN. I did it and gave there a switcher... but my problem is that if I turn off or on, it's the same - C1571 is active.
So, I want to do other thing, cut power supply cable of internal C1571. I think when it will not have power, it will be turn off really.
So, please help me to find power supply cable of internal C1571...

Thanks for all.

Hello, Al!  I like browsing your website every now and then.  Lots of cool hacks!  :)

I was just looking over the photos of the 128D with 3.5" disk drive, and you have a close-up shot of the EPROM for the internal 1581.  Did you ever get around to burning an image of it?

No, I didn't. I sold it to Bo, whom I believe did make a dump, and it was an early 1581 ROM. I could be remembereing that wrong, so don't count on it.
