Title: Serial floppy cable reduction
Post by: MIRKOSOFT on October 20, 2009, 08:49 PM
Hi!

I have connected to my C128DCR IEC-ATA V2 and 1541Ultimate. All can look ok.
But I want to connect also XE-Cable for 64HDD and 1541U has only one DIN-connector...

IS POSSIBLE TO CREATE ANY REDUCTION OF FLOPPY CABLE TO ONE SIDE 1X MALE, 2nd SIDE 2X MALE?

I don't know if is it possible and don't have any other idea how to connect XE-Cable...

Please help me.

Thanks for every reply.

Miro

Better to use 8-bit Design's Quad Port Plus (http://8bitdesigns.ath.cx/). It's a 4-port IEC buss adapter. $25 US, I have one and it works great!

In the next couple weeks, I have to order another Universal Video Module from Charles Gutman of 8-Bit Designs.

I've also heard good things about his User Port Commander.
