Title: Battle Blox - a "new" C128 80-column game (my rewrite of another thread)
Post by: RobertB on November 19, 2009, 04:50 PM
Back in 2007 for the 4K Demo Compo, Battle Blox, an 80-column game for the Commodore 128 was entered into the competition.  Well, that game is downloadable at

   http://sites.google.com/site/h2obsession/CBM/C128/images/BatlBlox.zip (http://sites.google.com/site/h2obsession/CBM/C128/images/BatlBlox.zip)

As it says in its documentation, "Battle Blox is an arcade/strategy game similar to Tetris, except instead of matching shapes, you are matching colors and are competing with an opponent.  Battle Blox is a one or two player game for PAL or NTSC using the VIC or VDC ... or both!  Plug your joystick(s) in, insert the disk, and reset your Commodore 128.  The game will boot automatically."
More instructions are included in the documentation contained within the zipped file.
