No, this is a list of "This Guy's Top 5 Computers of the 80s".
I'd certainly go with Amiga and C-64 as 2 of the Top5, and even the Apple II as #4, though it was (as he says) introduced in the 70s. But to list the TRS-80 and TI-99 in the top 5 is ludicrous. Mac and IBM PC deserve those spots, especially considering that they're the ones that have survived!
I disagree, the TRS-80 Color Computer (The "3", with 512K of ram) was a very powerful 8 bit with 16 bit instructions. The OS-9 was a true Unix multitasking OS for it, and Microware still supports OS-9 to this day. The 6809 was a powerful little processor
I agree with quarkx (http://www.commodore128.org/index.php?action=profile;u=656), the TRS-80 should be included. Of course I also agree with airship (http://www.commodore128.org/index.php?action=profile;u=255), that the MAC and IBM PC should go in there... blah... popularity contests...
