Title: SMF 2.0 RC3 released
Post by: Blacklord on March 10, 2010, 05:41 AM
SMF 2.0 release candidate 3 has been released. At this point I can't see that there's any huge need to upgrade as most of the new features are mostly cosmetic and it's a fairly large (& disruptive) job to do an upgrade.

However, if anyone feels that the following list is reason enough, then I'll do it :)

Does the newest release cure the bugs with cutting-and-pasting info in the current release?  I've had to do tedious work to reformat my posts so that they look correct.  Also the current release has display bugs in the posting box.  In the previous releases, I had no such problems.

Not sure - guess I can upgrade it on my test box & see what happens!
