Hi!

I ordered JiffyDOS for C128, C128DCR and C1581.

I tried JiffyDOS only on VICE128, shipment is on the way. I want to ask that I must use only JiffyDOS commands to faster load/save...
e.g. /, up arrow, left arrow, %, ' etc.?

Or can I use also standard commands DLOAD, BLOAD, DSAVE... etc. and it will be loaded fast as JiffyDOS commands?

JiffyDOS accelerates all disk activity; the extra commands are merely provided for convenience.

Yes, CommodoreJohn is right. The standard commands will still work and yes, everything will be much faster, whether you use the JiffyDOS commands or not.

I'll neve figure out how the hell I lived without the "@" command for all disk inquiries! What a fastastic save.... Not the mention the CNTRL N to cycle active devices!
