I took my C=128 out of the basement. My Commodore Video Monitor 1902A is so big, bulky and heavy. I want to use a flat screen VGA monitor. How do I hook up this monitor to my Commodore 128? Thanks in advance.
Get an LCD TV that has S-video inputs. Build or buy an S-video cable for 40 column modes. If you need 80 column mode also, see these threads.

S-video is the way to go on LCD TVs, not VGA. Trust me, I have been down both paths.

I've never used 80-column mode. I not even sure what it is or what its used for. Do you know where I can buy an S-video cable for 40 column modes? Google was no help.

I also sold them at one point, not sure if I have the parts to build another or not. That will work, thought you may find a better price.
But when you want use 80 columns, it's available Cinch- combo cable with switcher (40 columns in color / 80 monochrome)
Look at:

output 2x Cinch is not problem to enlarge Cinch to S-Video.
Better cable is at moment sold out at Protovision - the same combo with sound.
