Maybe my last post (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pb9yzfnbT0) in this forum:
The guys from the CCL (Commodore Connection Line), especially Skern presented this weekend in Stuttgart (Germany) on the "Hobby & Elektronic" Consumer Show a C64 running under water (aka U64). They tried to keep the C64 running for an hour and the third try was successful. That is a new world record. There is a video on Youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pb9yzfnbT0).

Wow. I wonder who was the first to try such a thing? I would never risk my C128 on such a stunt. Maybe a C16.
I read the article, but I do not understand why the water had to be stirred (with pump or with spoon).
It's sad you had to stop for the next event. I wonder how long it could keep going? Anyway, congradulations on your accomplishment!

I guess you are pre-occupied with your own forum now? Try to visit on occassion and let us know about anything exciting Commodore stuff there in Germany. Like U64 :)
Or is it the anti-spam issue? What a pain the bad apples cause for everyone else...

Heh, when I heard the term, "U64", I thought of a C64 diving through the ocean water of the North Atlantic. :) But now upon looking at the video, I realize that if it had been ocean water, it would have corroded the C64 board very badly.
I will congratulate Dirk "Skern" K. on his accomplishment next summer when I see him.
Who thought of that idea?!

I think the U64 is the most pictured mainboard of the world now :)
