I have released a new version of Adventure, 350 point version. The game was
originally released in 1977, and was one of the very first text adventure games.

There are plenty of hints and walkthroughs available online, e.g. this should work
perfectly: https://mipmip.org/advfamily/Universal350.html

This specific version was built with the Inform 6 language and the PunyInform text
adventure library. It is very close to the original in terms of game play - it has
the same rooms, same objects, same NPCs etc. Type HELP in the game to learn more
about the history of the game.

This version has been optimized for performance on 8-bit computers, and includes
disk images for dozens of platforms, including the C64, C128, Plus/4, PET, Vic 20
(fully expanded), MEGA65 and Commander X16.

The C64 and C128 versions can use an REU for caching the game if you have one, so
there's no disk access during game play. The C128 version is playable in either 40
or 80 columns, uses the extra RAM and the 2 MHz CPU speed.

The game is in Z-code format, Infocom's virtual machine that was used to release
Zork, Planetfall, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy etc for many different platforms.
The game file is ~80KB, and the game motor ("Z-code interpreter") uses virtual
memory to make it possible to play it on platforms with as little as 32 KB of RAM.
More RAM makes for less pauses for loading data though.
