Anyone know of a program which will unkey or rekey a master disk? I have found some disk images of various GEOS programs that wont run because the master disk isnt the same one that was apparently first loaded from.

Tool for changing serial numbers of GEOS. - http://landover.no-ip.com/files/GEOS/change.ZIP
Does anyone have this file? The download link does not work. :(
Here ya go.
Thanks! In all my tools for GEOS, I don't think I had that one.

Thanks for the quick response!
Thanks Blacklord. I just wrote about my GEOS being crippled-ware due to operator error. This should fix it.
AM I missing something, there was no attachment or link that I can click on and this would be handy for me as well. THanks!
It's called change.ZIP. Depending on your browser, the link might be under or to the side of Blacklord's "Here ya go" statement.
What browser are you using?

Hi All,
Don't mean to sound like a n00b but...
How am I supposed to run the files contained in change.zip?
Regards,
ed...
Put them on a disk, start GEOS and run them?
Hi,
I've tried that without success. When I try to start each of those files from within GEOS, it kicks me out back to the dos prompt?
Am I missing something?

How did you import the files into Geos? I'm assuming these are Geos files in the zip, they will need to be extracted in Geos or they will get screwed up.
Hi,
Thank you for the tip! I have downloaded GEOZip to try to extract the zip file from within GEOS. However, this program requires a SuperCPU!
I searched for others but could not find other unzippers.
Does anyone know of others that do not require a SuperCPU?

There seems to be confusion, even on the webpage of the author in regards to geoZip (which he keeps calling GunZIP GEOS). geoZip is the newer incarnation; try the older version called GunZip at

There are C64 and C128 versions,

P.S. Outside of GEOS, there is Errol Smith's Unzip64 and Unzip128.
Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I tried GunZip and UnZip64 without success again. Both of these are unzippers for outside GEOS. It is my understanding that I need an unzipper from WITHIN GEOS in order to extract the rekey files contained in this thread (change.zip)?
