Well, one short-term & one longer term.....
Firstly, just increased the speed of the ADSL here to 8mbit/512k (8 mbit up, 512k down) - this'll take effect in about 3-5 days. Can't get any faster out here in the boonies unfortunately....
That's the short term one, long term is I'm moving everything to a dedicated hosting company in Sydney once we move in May (www.commodore128.org is hosted overseas & I'm not impressed with the speed). Both the sites will be moved. Nice speed increase.
cheers,
Lance
Some great changes indeed Lance. Awesome news.

Are you sure you don't mean 8Mb down and 512Kb up? 8Mb up and 512Kb down would make sense as most of your traffic is outbound but I've never heard of DSL being sold that way (at least in residential situations). Come to think of it, the ratio is a little lean too. With 8Mb you would expect at least a Megabit in the other direction.
Sorry, too many years in the ISP business.

My bad - dyslexia setting in :) But unfortunately, yep, only 512 up.
