I contacted this guy on ebay - he will post to Australia but wants $US47 dollars for postage! Says that it's the cost that USPS charges for delivery (including tracking). I sold one of these around 15 months ago to the US & it cost $AU18 (with tracking) to send to the US. Why the disparity in price ?

Assuming that this item weighs around 1 pound, US$47 provides you with 1 to 3 day delivery for documents. It would work out about the same for non-documents.

Non-tracked airmail is only $16. Insurance is only an extra $1.95.

The Global Express Mail EMS option (tracked) is for documents only.
