Title: C128 font
Post by: K133 on March 18, 2007, 04:25 AM
The real Commodore 128 used a different lowercase font than the 64. Is there a way to get VICE to use that font in x128 instead of the 64 font?

The 128 font in VICE is different than the 64 font.  Just issue GO64 and watch them change.

Whoa, I didn't realize x128 had a 64 mode, I just use x64 for that. LOL.

It appears the fonts are backwards though. It's using the 64 font in the normal mode, and the 128 font in 64 mode.

This is VICE 1.21 on Windows, by the way.

The fonts are in ROM, though.  Someone either purposely swapped them in the ROM or someone introduced some code to get it wrong on purpose.
