Title: Wanted: Flat 1571 ROM and REU

Hihi

If anyone has a DOS ROM from the old 1571 (or the drive in the plastic 128D) I could do with one since mine thinks it's a 1570 right now

Also, any sort of REU that'd work with the C128 and not break anything else would be nice, although I suspect not cheap -.o

I'm also after copies of the Basic 8 and GEOS 128 ROM for expansion socket in the 128D, got the servant in there now but it'd be nice to have it switchable -.o

I have a box of new misc parts (chips, double headed drive assembly).etc. If you have a part number I can see if I have the parts

I have Basic 8 on disk as well as sketchpad 128 and the other one (can not think of name right now).

Ahh, can you PM me with details (and what you want for it)

310654-05 is the part number on the dead one incidentally, the drive is otherwise fine, it's working with a 1570 ROM (and a new 6526)

Basic/Geos, I need those on ROM because I want them switchable in instantly and I'm making other mods to the 128 (actually I'm shoehorning an entire 64HDD system inside the case :> wish me luck, I'll need it, heh

Ahh, replied there, but I just noticed you mention you're using the C128DCR, it is the standalone 1571 ROM you have and not the one from the drive in the C128DCR aye? I'm told the DCR one won't work in my drive which is why I ask, lol

Lynx on a C128?

I wouldn't have thought that was doable with the size of that app, I'd be interested to hear how you managed it, I had a quick look at contiki but without hardware I can't do anything -.-

Now I'm going to have to get a NIC in there somehow :|

I use a C128DCR on-line, but we have the upgrade ROM for the separate, standalone 1571.
