It's actually PC software - I bit torrented an enormous amount of ancient DOS software way back, must still be floating around out there - maybe one day I'll put it all up again.

cheers,

it is an old compiler that I am looking to compile old code to see what it really does when it is compiled using its original compiler.

therefore, I am looking forward if someone could be able to share it here.

thank you very much.

I'll put this up for you but it doesn't work properly in XP. Version 4 is better. I have a workaround though. Give me until tomorrow AM sometime and it will be on the Aztec C Website.
With examples etc.

Version 5.2a

Rebundled for Windows XP

Aztec C86 Version 5.2a Complete

http://www.clipshop.ca/Aztec/az8652a.zip

This is a completely installed version of the Manx Aztec C86 Version 5.2a MS-DOS development environment for the 8086 processor. Support for DOS 2.0 and CP/M 86 was discontinued in this version.

The build environment has been configured to run under Windows XP and a pre-configured shortcut has been provided for this purpose.  Several sample programs are also provided, each with its own MAKEFILE and each can be reviewed for information on how to write your own programs.Unzip the ZIP file with directories intact onto the root of your C: Drive. The Windows XP shortcut has been pre-configured to use this directory structure.

Open the C:\az8652a folder in MyComputer and click-on the shortcut. A cmd window will open, and you will be in the C:\az8652a directory which is the parent directory for this environment. The required environment variables to build Aztec C MS-DOS programs are set for you, and you can build these anywhere on your computer from this cmd window.

Coming Soon - Aztec CZ80 c/w C128 CP/M Disk Images with Sample and Example Programs

Already posted in CP/M - This contains both an Aztec C native mode compiler and XP - MS-DOS cross-compiler which will produce programs that will run in native mode CP/M or on the x128 Vice Emulator or on other CP/M 80 emulators like Simeon Cran's MyZ80. Expected 2nd week in April on the Aztec-C Website.
