I hooked up my 'new' C128 and C1571 today and pulled out my collection of disks.  Although they were stored individualy in paper sleeves and collectively in a plastic case, the storage environment was not temperature controlled: 99+degrees F in summer and 35-degrees F in winter.  That, coupled with their age (and the age of the equipment) made me seriously doubt the ability to retrieve data from the disks.

Well miracles never cease!  Its been hit and miss, but I have got a number of my old programs to come back to life.  What a kick to see that stuff from by-gone years.  I have several programs I used for hacking back in the day and in the coming weeks and months I will be working to xfer them to my PC and offer them to anyone who cares.  In particular, I have some Z80 programs I wrote (if I can find them, I spotted a suspicious disk so keep your fingers crossed), that I think might be of interest to Christian Johansson.

I don't have any modem or REU hacks since I never owned either, but otherwise just about anything you might be interested in.  So any requests?

Cool hydro... I think its safe to say though that ANYTHING you have is of value.  Keep us informed of your progress
