I'm working with David Spriggs to start a Commodore BBS wiki.

Having this info in a Wiki format is a great idea!  Bo Zimmerman's site is a great resourse, but it's a lot for one person to take on, and is currently a bit outdated...

I'd like to add info for BBS programs that I'm familiar with, but I'm not sure how to do it.  Have any tips for wiki beginners?  Also, how can I add BBS programs that are missing from the list?

Hit "Log In/Create Account" at the top right-hand corner -- after you've created your account, you can simply view the page in question and hit the "Edit" tab. A running log of who changed what is available, and I can roll back changes if someone decides to be cute and deface the page.

In your case, you would simply go into the bulleted list of BBS programs and add whatever you'd like! Just out of curiosity, do you think we should break the list up into C64 and C128 software? That might be a bit nicer, come to think of it.

Also, feel free to add to the "discussion" page.

Red links go to topics which haven't been written yet, similar to Wikipedia.

I am also a newbie at actually editing wikis. The link to the new user documentation will always stay on the main page as I continue to learn about the software's features.

I need to figure out how to upload images. I've got some cute Christmas C/G art I want to show off.

Yeah, I agree that seperating C64 and C128 BBS software would be a good idea.

I'll try creating an account and adding some info in the next few days.  Thanks for the help! 

Separation isn't a bad idea. David enabled the image upload feature. I put my favorite C/G Christmas art in the C/G article Needs to be scaled down though.

Let me know if you have any questions. Perhaps both of us put together can have half a clue

Actually, someone was asking about you on Cottonwood BBS recently, so yeah, you should "call". 

To edit a sub-page, just click on the blue (existing) or red (defined but no content yet) link.

To create a link, hit "Edit" at the top, and surround the text you want the link to be hyperlinked to in a pair of square brackets:

Ah, someone misses me on Cottonwood? Heh. Once again, I've got to find my login info. I wish CGTerm allowed for saving passwords and such. I really need to use Novaterm 9.6 in VICE...

Anytime. One thing I discovered is spambots will follow a link and post their crap on a blank page, so when you create a link, post at least one line of text.

Perhaps we should set it up to where an account is required, with a Commodore BBS related question as the key to getting access.
